THE WEST DART IN THE JACKSON KAYAK ZEN

This year I’m trying to get into river running/creeking a bit more, so recently I got a shiny new Jackson Kayak Zen. The recent rains meant that the rivers on Dartmoor were at decent flows so I had the opportunity to paddle a completely new section: the West Dart. This is a fast and continuous section with only occasional flat spots to catch your breath (and maybe pick up the pieces) and was a great opportunity to test out the Jackson Kayak Zen.
