Please come and join us at Lee Valley Whitewater Centre this weekend (25th/26th June 2016) as we have been invited to take part in a Paddlesports Festival hosted by Silverbirch Canoes & Tootega Kayaks .

The festival will include:
Demo Boats from Jackson Kayak, Silverbirch Canoes and Tootega.
The Reel Paddle Film Festival – showcasing the best paddle sports films from around the world on a giant outside screen in the centre of the Olympic course “island”

Canoe coaching clinics -Silverbirch are offering a variety of canoe coaching clinics – from advanced white water OC1, to first time in a canoe on moving water. From advanced solo techniques on flat water, to a gentle explore of the Lee valley river network. There should be something for everyone!
Introduction to white water clinics – These are for those who have always wanted to try moving water, but do not want to get inside a kayak! Using the innovative Tootega Catalyst sit on top kayaks or instructors will quickly and easily give you the necessary skills and confidence to tackle the Lee Valley Legacy Course

Boater cross – there will be not one, but two boater cross events. The first will be held on the legacy course on Saturday afternoon and will be open to all. The second event will be held on the Olympic course immediately before the Reel paddle film festival takes place (so big crowds are guaranteed) on Saturday evening – to take part in the Olympic boater cross you must be assessed for the Olympic course or have won your category in the legacy boater cross.

In the evening on both Saturday and Sunday, The Reel Paddle Film Festival will be screening inspiring paddling films on a big outdoor screen.

Bookings close on the 25th June.
