Due to a really long period of exams followed by a family holiday in the US, I’ve barely been able to get out kayaking for the last couple of months. Whilst in America, I decided to use the relaxed nature of the holiday to my advantage and get in good shape to allow me to train all day effectively when I got back to the UK. It is the prevailing opinion that once you are too heavy for your kayak, you need another. However I have found a practical alternative… Squirt Boating! The only kayaking discipline in which sinking is desired. Because I can still fit into my Jackson Kayak Shooting Star (it is most definitely not easy), it provides a fantastic base from which to start squirt boating. Today the new Jackson Kayak FUN was born!    The mold arrived and was carefully framed up, the first few boats done to dial into mold in, get the thicknesses right, get the weight right, and then BINGO!  I have a green and a red Fun in my RV heading to Canada.    There, we’ll shoot some video, take photos, and give you a feel for how this boat performs!    I already know because I paddled the prototype and worked hard with David Knight to get the exact desired performance.    David nailed it with his magic!  What is...
